Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question for the team here at Elements Dental? Our patients ask us interesting questions every day, so we thought it would be helpful to include a few of the most common ones right here on our website. If you happen to have a question that we haven’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to give us a call and ask! No question is too small!
How often should I visit the dentist?
Our entire team agrees with the American Dental Association on this one: people of all ages should visit the dentist at least twice a year for a checkup and cleaning in order to keep their teeth looking great as well as avoid preventable dental issues such as tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.
When are you open?
We are actually open 6 Days a week, including Sunday! We’re even open as early as 7 AM and as late as 7 PM on specific days.
How should I replace my missing teeth?
This will depend on how many teeth you need to be replaced, your oral health, as well as your budget. We’re happy to offer more traditional options like bridges and dentures, but for the longest-lasting and most natural-looking results, we may recommend dental implants. They are the premier tooth replacement available today, and we’re even able to perform the entire procedure from start to finish (unlike many other offices), making it easier than ever to rebuild your smile.
Can you improve the appearance of my smile?
We certainly can! Every treatment we provide actually has some aesthetic benefit, but to give you a truly stunning smile, we have our cosmetic services. With them, we can do everything from simply whiten your teeth to give you a complete smile makeover. Whatever you need to achieve your dream smile, we’re happy to provide it.
How can a dentist help with sleep apnea?
Over the past few decades, dentists have been able to successfully treat patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) using custom-made oral appliances. In multiple studies, it has been shown that this approach improves the sleep quality for over 90% of users. It’s excellent for people who still need treatment or those who are CPAP intolerant.
I’m a little nervous about going to the dentist. Can you help?
Yes! We like to practice what we call “spa-dentistry,” in which we combine aromatherapy, and relaxing music with our traditional dental treatments to create a unique, relaxing atmosphere to help those nerves melt away. And, should you need a little extra help to feel comfortable, we’re also happy to provide complete sedation dentistry as well.
Will you accept my dental insurance?
Yes, and we are in-network providers for many of the most popular plans. We’ll even handle the entire claims process to make sure you’re getting the most out of your benefits. To learn how we can use your particular plan to help you save at your next appointment, contact us today.
